THE CHAMPIONS ARE out of the Barbados Cricket Association’s Super Cup.
YMPC off-spinner Neil Persaud grabbed six for 13 but Massy Stores Spartan rebounded to defend a modest 113 against last year’s winners to triumph by 13 runs yesterday.
Needing 114 to win, YMPC were dismissed for 101 with 14 balls to spare.
They slipped from 48 for three to 49 for six, when Sulieman Benn, in his first match of the tournament, removed Renaldo Arthur, Kemar Smith and Calvin Watson in successive overs. (EH)
