Lecture series on development: Does it build a society?

Development: Does it Build a Society? is the theme of the upcoming 11th Lecture-Seminar Series to be hosted by the Economic Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs on Friday, December 15.

The event, which will take place at the Courtyard by Marriott, The Garrison Historic Area, Hastings, Christ Church, will run from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Permanent Secretary in the Economic Affairs Division, Seibert Frederick, will lead a panel of distinguished economists and historians as they examine related issues.

Among these are: Professor of Economics at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Winston Moore; Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Senator Jepter Ince; and retired Ambassador to CARICOM, Robert “Bobby” Morris. (BGIS)
