The Concorde Experience was yesterday transformed with make-up, fashion, food and wine, as men and women gathered for Aloha Girlfriends Expo And Arts Festival 2018.
Event director Kimtara Clarke said the event, yesterday’s being the ninth instalment, was more than an expo – an experience, in fact.
“This year we’re taking in a bit of the Hawaiian culture. How we usually portray the experience is more so in the food, the decor and the leis [garlands] that we can give the ladies.
“We also have our feminars, a production done in collaboration with the Girlfriends Foundation, which we use to educate our girlfriends on topics including health and business,” she said. (RA)
