Pride at stake

Date:

Share post:

PATIENCE will be the key word for West Indies and Sri Lanka today, as both teams play for pride in their penultimate match of the ICC Cricket World Cup.

With no chance of qualifying for the final four, the Windies are likely to give their benched players a match while Sri Lanka will be looking to learn from the mistakes they made last Friday when they lost here to South Africa.

England’s victory over India yesterday eliminated the Sri Lankans so today’s result has no real significance on how the tournament will end.(BW)
