Residents in St Thomas, St James and St Michael should expect improved service as the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has completed work on two areasĀ of the network.

Water levels at the Lodge Hill pumping station have improved, the station is back online and is currently moving water into the Shop Hill Distribution System, the BWA said in a statement.

Meanwhile, crews have also completed emergency repair work on a seven-inch burst main that was damaged by contractors working on the St James Water Resources Management and Flood Resilience Project in Holetown.

Water tankers will be dispatched until the water supply to the area returns to normal. (PR/SAT)
