Muscle juniors bring ‘A’ game

NOT ONLY the seniors owned the stage during the National Sports Council’s Mr Schoolboy Bodybuilding & Miss Schoolgirl Body Fitness Championships at Combermere School on Friday night.

The tiny tots and juniors also showed promise in the sport, which has been seeing tremendous growth as more Barbadians move towards maintaining healthy lifestyles.

Elissa Callender-Springer of the Christ Church Foundation School didn’t allow a broken toe to hinder her from competing and winning the Upper Junior Girls’ 12-15 fitness contest.(RG)
