Promising cyclist Dominic Howard is in limbo.

The 20-year-old Samuel Jackman Prescod (SJP) Institute of Technology student was preparing for a USA Pro Crits race in June before the Chicago event was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“It is hard to stay motivated because there is nothing to train for. You are just training every single day doing the same thing and you don’t know when is the next race,” he told Weekend Sport.

Last year the former Lester Vaughan student was invited by his coach to go for a two-month stint in the United States and since then he has been in love with the sport. (RG)
