The MQI 98.1 The One Soca Monarch Competition will take place today as scheduled.
That was the word coming from the The National Cultural Foundation this morning.
There were fears that overnight showers, which caused the postponement of several events yesterday, might impact today's staging at the National Botanical Gardens in Waterford, St Michael.
The day dawned full of sunshine, but the Met Office has forecast more showers and possible thunderstorms as a tropical wave makes its way through the area. (PR/SAT)
