BRITISH F4 champion Zane Maloney led Barbados to a clean sweep in the Caribbean Radical SR3 Cup Championship as the Clash of Champions International Race Meet ended at the South Dakota circuit, Guyana, last Sunday.

He was untouchable, lapping almost the entire grid in the final SR3 event while homeboy Andrew King raced unbeaten in Group 4, holding off challenges from Krisitian Jeffrey and Barbadian Mark Maloney.

Zane, in an outstanding first outing in the South American country, outshone his father and uncles in the international field. He won all three of the SR3 radicals races, while King won the three Group 4 races.

Young Maloney had given notice of his intensions by taking pole position in Saturday’s qualifying. (TT)
