Pacer Babb paves the way

Fast bowler Joshua Babb grabbed four wickets and also chipped in with the bat to lead St Stephen’s into the semi-finals of the National Sports Council’s Guardian Group Herman Griffith Primary Schools’ Cricket Competition yesterday.

In the only match played, Babb collected four for 18 as St Stephen’s won by five wickets against Charles F. Broome at Dover.
Charles F. Broome were restricted to 60 with Ijae Ward and Rakhio Paul both claiming two wickets.

St Stephen’s reachedtheir target for the loss of five wickets. Paul led the case with 24 while Babb made 14.

The other three semi-final matches will be played on Monday. (HG)
