THE Alleyne School and St Leonard’s Boys’ reigned supreme when the Sports & Games Schools’ Hockey League, organised by the National Sports Council, climaxed on Tuesday at the Wildey AstroTurf.

The intensity of the finals led to St Leonard’s needing penalty flicks to win the Under-13 crown from St George Secondary after a 1-1 tie at full time.

Following a 2-2 battle in the senior boys’ title match, Alleyne also triumphed in a shoot-out to deny Frederick Smith Secondary the crown.(KB)
