Scores of Barbados Coast Guard divers are continuing the search for missing teenager Amalee Mayers.

The 16-year-old was last seen yesterday fishing just off of Tent Bay, St Joseph, with friends.

Operations Officer Malcom Thompson, who was at the scene, said the recovery mission was also being supported by many civilians who know the Alleyne School student.

Many of them are still watching the operation.

Mayers, of Beach Mount, Bathsheba, in the same parish, was reportedly freediving in the area near the Atlantis Hotel with three other people.  (TG)
