UPDATE: Police identify body found at Strathclyde

The body found on an open spot at Strathclyde, St Michael on Thursday, May 21, has been identified as Mostafa Rahaman, 57, of Brittons Hill, St Michael.

Police said in a media release today that investigations are ongoing, but no foul play is suspected.

Members of the Barbados Fire Service were conducting investigations in the area when they discovered the body about 5 p.m. Police and medical services were summoned and, on closer examination, there was no sign of life. Rahaman was a former employee in the area.

Anyone who may have information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Black Rock Police Station at 417-7500, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers 1800-8477(TIPS) or any Police Station. (PR/KG)
