Shooting victim in accident

A man who was shot multiple times on Friday night was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance after his vehicle was involved in a collision near Welches, St Thomas.

Police say the victim, whose name was not released, was shot about the body around 11 p.m. in Redmans Village by an unknown person. While trying to escape in his car, he was in a collision in the area between Redmans Village and Welches

Anyone who may have information that can assist with this investigation is asked to contact Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS(8477), District 'D' Police Station at 419-1726 or any Police Station. (PR/SAT)
