PRECISION PACKAGING INC. continues to feel the wrath of disgruntled workers.

Staff from the morning shift downed tools on Tuesday and remained off the job for the third consecutive day yesterday. It is unclear if the industrial action will go into a fourth day today.

Five of the workers and senior industrial relations officer at the Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU), Juliette Pollard, met with human resources manager at Precision Packaging, Julian Hunte, and general manager Winston Thompson at the Labour Department for more than an hour yesterday.

That meeting followed immediately after officers from the Labour Department met separately with workers and their representative and the Precision Packaging management for just under an hour.
