Body recovered from St Lucy beach

THE DECOMPOSED BODY of a man was discovered on the beach at Jones Bay, Bishops, St Lucy on Saturday evening.

Around 5 p.m., a man saw the body and summoned the police and Barbados Fire Service.

The body was recovered from the beach, which is at the bottom of a 40-foot cliff.

A police release says the body appears to be male, but no further information is available due to state of decomposition. 

Anyone who may have information on this person’s identity is asked to contact the Crab Hill Police Station at telephone number 310-7700 or Emergency number 211. (PR)
