BITT INC. SUPPORTED the Chefette Fun Run which was held on Sunday, starting from Chefette Rockley and ending at Chefette Fontabelle.

“With our vision to ‘empower every man, woman and child’, we did not hesitate to support this long standing, very worthy, annual fundraiser,” said Gabriel Abed, Bitt’s co-founder and chief executive officer.

“As the region’s premier FinTech company, we have, in our own way, helped to put Barbados on the global map within our industry. We boast of being Barbados-based, and take pride in our pool of talent and ground breaking achievements. As such, giving back to Barbados is second nature to us,” Abed added.

Krystle Hinds, Bitt’s vice-president, marketing, said Bitt’s own team was on the road, with so many others, making strides in the name of charity.

Chefette was pleased to have Bitt on board as a first time corporate sponsor and Ryan Haloute, the company’s managing director, thanked Bitt and other companies who united to keep the six-kilometre run and walk going. (PR)
