BARBADOS’ new-look senior women’s football squad drew 1-1 with their Grenadian counterparts on Tuesday night at the University of the West Indies’ Paradise Park AstroTurf facility.

The result was Grenada’s third consecutive draw, after 0-0 and 1-1 scores against neighbours St Vincent and the Grenadines and they can hold their heads high as they return to the Spice Isle undefeated after their three-match tour.

The opening exchanges favoured the visitors as they seemed more comfortable on the ball and moved the ball around crisply while it took the home girls some time to get their groove going.
