Postage by phone

At the touch of a button, businesses can now apply postage stamps to, and seal, tens and even hundreds of mail items without having to make numerous trips to the post office.
This was made possible in Barbados last Thursday when Barbados Business Machines Limited (BBM) launched the Pitney Bowes Postage By Phone machine series at its Facey House, Warrens Industrial Park, Warrens, St Michael office where representatives from businesses, including the Post Office Department, went to learn about the state-of-the-art digital equipment.
According to BBM global services manager Jeremy Hart, the digital machine would reduce trips to the post office and provide “complete revenue security and cost reductions for companies”.
