Sir Roy sends notice

THE BARBADOS WORKERS’ UNION (BWU) is not about to step aside or play dead.
That word of advice came yesterday from BWU general secretary Sir Roy Trotman during his address to the mid-term meeting at Solidarity House, the union’s headquarters in Harmony Hall, St Michael.
“A word to the wise in this country in 2012 ought to be enough,” Sir Roy said in an apparent message to employers.
He said the BWU wanted to do the right thing for Barbados, where the fruits of labour would be fairly and equitably shared.
