THERE’S SOMETHING special taking place at The Bridgetown Gallery, upstairs Sheraton Mall, Christ Church.
It’s where the art exhibition titled Gotta Be Bajan is taking place. You must pay a visit to this art gallery.
Fabulous pieces of art by a wide cross section of Barbadian artists are on display, including 12 beautiful watercolour paintings featuring such places as The Crane, St John’s Parish Church, Christ Church Parish Church and Bathsheba.
You’ll also be mesmerized by the colourful paintings and crafted art of designer and artist Carol Cadogan-Fox; as well as creations by Susan Alleyne-Forde, Susan Layton, Yasmin Vizcarrondo, Katalin, Lisa Cole, Norma Farmer, Jeanette Gittens, Christine Taylor, Tiffani Forde – and many other artists.
Also on display and for purchase are some excellent framed photographs which are sure to find a special place in your heart. In fact, with the holidays just around the corner, you can consider purchasing one of these paintings as a gift, or to enhance your home. Either way you win!
Creativity, thought, skill and talent all combine to make each painting a special piece of art. After all, each piece has just Gotta Be Bajan. (CH)
