SAYING?THEY?HAVE LOST ALL CONFIDENCE in the management of Harrison College, the parents of a 16-year-old student have broken their silence on a foul-up at the school that has prevented the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) from grading their daughter’s biology paper.
The parents, who also requested a transfer to Queen’s College, feel their teenager has been unfairly treated and are calling for better to be done to ensure that no other student ever suffers the same fate.
“This entire situation has been very disturbing and painful for us,” said the mother, who requested anonymity to protect her daughter’s identity.
She said they took the decision to go public after holding meetings with Harrison College principal Winston Crichlow and officials at the Ministry of Education, including Minister Ronald Jones.
