Attorneys representing a St James business will today ask a judge to send outspoken businessman Joseph Jordan to prison for his breach of a court order.
The matter will be heard in the Supreme Court No 12 this morning by Justice Jacqueline Cornelius, after Justice Elneth Kentish recused herself from the case because she intended to seek legal action against Jordan for what she termed a “scurrilous” letter.
A reliable legal source told the WEEKEND?NATION yesterday that Coach House Limited has made an application for Jordan be imprisoned for his breach of a July 5 court order issued by Kentish, warning him not to trespass on the property known as the Beach House and also from approaching and or remaining within 50 metres of the property.
On October 18 Jordan, accompanied by workmen, gave an order for the gate to be removed in the presence of a NATION team.
