Police appeal for assistance

POLICE want the public to assist with investigations into the unnatural death of a young man.
According to public relations officer Inspector David Welch, the 20-year-old was taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital around noon today “by a number of unknown men”.
He was said to be suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest and subsequently died.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call emergency number 211 or 430-7189. (PR/NB)
