A St Michael youth who was shot, reportedly in a drive-by shooting on Collymore Rock, died yesterday at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).
Sources told the DAILY NATION that Romario Yarde, of Bayville, was riding a bicycle when a car pulled alongside him and someone opened fire. He was shot in the chest and the car sped away.
The 20-year-old was later removed from the scene around noon by people passing in a vehicle. They took him to the QEH, where he died. Â
Last night, police public relations officer Inspector David Welch lamented the loss of life of yet another young man to gun violence.
