19-y-o charged in Party Stand raid

A 19-YEAR-OLD MAN has been remanded to HMP Dodds until September 26 in connection with illegal weapons and ammunition found in a raid at the Party Stand yesterday.

Kemo Avery Grant of Grazettes Main Road, St Michael appeared in District A traffic Court today and was remanded until next month.

Grant was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a .32 revolver and unlawful possession of three rounds of ammunition.

The gun and ammunition were found on Grant during a police search at the Party Stand yesterday.

The case has been transferred to the District A Magistrates Criminal Court.
