Three for gas station robbery

THREE MEN ARE SCHEDULED to appear in court today to face several charges of robbery, including that of the Paynes Bay gas station last Monday.

They are Rochan Jackson Thomas, 20, of 1st Avenue, Vauxhall, Christ Church; Rashad Moore, 24, of Vauxhall, Christ Church and 25-year-old Leross Deandre Burnett of Chapman Village, St Thomas.

The three have been jointly charged with aggravated burglary and robbery.

The robbery of the St James gas station took place around 5 a.m. on September 8 and three masked, armed men escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.  

During the investigation, money and other items connected were recovered.

Thomas, Moore and Burnett are scheduled to appear at the Holetown/District E Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
