Shine bright like a Diamond!

That was definitely the case last Thursday night when some top celebrities joined Barbadian mega star Rihanna for the first Annual Diamond Ball at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills.

The star-studded charity event, held in honour of The Clara Lionel Foundation, didn’t only bring out the likes of Brad Pitt, Jimmy Kimmel and Salma Hayek, but also the Fenty clan, including Rihanna’s mother Monica, her father Ronald and grandfather Lionel Brathwaite, whom she affectionately calls Bravo.

Funds raised from the black tie event will go towards improving the Clara Brathwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The facility is named after Rihanna’s grandmother Clara, whom she lovingly called Gran Gran Dolly and who succumbed to cancer two years ago.
