AS SCOTIABANK OPENS the application process for the 2015 edition of its Caribbean Associate Development Programme (CADP), participants from the 2013 rotation have shared their perspectives on the invaluable career opportunity.

Barbadian Renee Wall, a civil engineer by training, switched careers to join the two-year leadership development programme. Currently on rotation in Jamaica, she praised the programme for giving her the opportunity “to vastly improve my knowledge and apply my analytical skills.”

Jamaican Perrin Gayle was equally enthusiastic about CADP’s impact on his life and career, noting that he relished “the chance to live and work in different countries, with a broad spectrum of personalities and cultures.”

“[It] has opened up my mind to a global level of thinking,” added Gayle.
Scotiabank’s Caribbean Associate Development Programme is targeted at ambitious professionals from any field with graduate level education and supervisory experience. The programme provides a high-level entry point and hands-on training in the financial services sector.

Participants get the opportunity to live and work in some of the 25 countries in Scotiabank’s Caribbean network during four six-month rotations which are uniquely tailored to the individual’s skills and interests. International rotations are sometimes also included in the programme.

More information on the programme can be found on http://barbados.scotiabank.com/careers. Applications for the programme close March 18th. (PR)
