THE EXEMPLARY BEHAVIOUR Devon Prescod exhibited even when he was out with his pals playing was heralded by one of his childhood friends, Akeem Cox.
“I never heard Devon curse, I never hear Devon quarrel with nobody. Devon would just say all right and walk away,” Cox said of the 18-year-old, who lost his life off a cliff at Gemswick, St Philip, where he was fishing.
While noting that he had only been able to get two good nights’ sleep since his friend went missing over a week ago, Cox said: “It hurt me, it hurt me,” before getting teary-eyed and pausing.
He said Devon loved football, fishing, talking “ignorance” and “nuff” eating.
