Doping shock

IT SEEMS THE ENTIRE athletics world has been rocked by the latest allegations of doping.

Dr Adrian Lorde included.

Barbados’ leading anti-doping official is in total shock at the recent leak of thousands of abnormal blood tests, but reveals he would be in even greater dismay if the IAAF and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) were revealed to be involved in a huge cover-up.

“I am surprised, stunned even, and I can’t imagine that any so called cover-up could be happening, but all those results go to WADA so they have to explain to us if they are aware of these abnormal tests,” said Lorde, the chairman of the Caribbean Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (RADO).
