AN AIR OF UNEASE settled on the National Sports Council (NSC) yesterday morning after a departmental meeting.

Reports to the SATURDAY SUN from sources who preferred to remain anonymous are that at the coaches’ meeting the question of those who would take voluntary termination packages arose.

The meeting was chaired by assistant director Mona Alleyne and one source said they were told that those who would be willing to take early retirement packages or voluntary separation packages should make themselves known.

The source further added that this has caused some unease at the NSC as they have never heard of a Government institution offering termination packages.
