Cougars conquer

Trinidad and Tobago’s Cougars brought their Carnival all the way to Barbados as they palanced over the competition yesterday when the Barbados Relay Fair was staged at the National Stadium.

There was no stopping the Cougars who led in both the girls’ and boys’ standings up to the running of the 4 x 200 metre relays.

This was the first time the club competed at the fair and they were out front at that stage in the girls with 84 points while Christ Church Foundation were some distance behind in second place with 46 points. Joint third were the Springer Memorial School and the JumpStart Programme with 34 points each.

Among the boys, Cougars were leading with 69 points while the Elite Distance Programme were second with 36 points. St Stephen’s Primary were third with 34 points.
