Lester Vaughan, St Michael lead Frank Blackman Zone

DEFENDING BOYS’ CHAMPIONS The Lester Vaughan School and the girls of The St Michael School have taken the lead on the first day of the second zonal meet of the 2016 Powerade Barbados Secondary Schools’ Athletics Championships.

Athletes defied high winds and rain at the National Stadium today in the Frank Blackman Zone of this year’s championships.

Lester Vaughan School have 215.5 points, 11 more than Queen’s College. Coleridge and Parry are third with 141.

Among the girls, St Michael have 206 points, followed by Queen’s College and The Lester Vaughan School on 173.5 and 157, respectively.

The zone will conclude tomorrow at the same venue.
