VIDEO: MV Trident scuttled

ON APRIL 28, 2016 THE MV Trident sank to a watery grave in Carlisle Bay. The former flagship vessel of the Barbados Coast Guard was scuttled in 90 feet of water to become a new wreck/dive site and eventual reef after 28 years of service.

It entered the service of the Barbados Coast Guard on February 27, 1982, after arriving in the island in November, the previous year. It was decommissioned on April 26, 2009.
