SOME MOTORISTS are driving around with flashing lights on the grills of their vehicles but police are warning that they are illegal.
These strobe lights have become a popular vehicle accessory in some countries and can be installed on the grill, around headlamps or licence plates.
However, senior officers attached to the police Mobile Division told the SUNDAY SUN that only emergency vehicles in Barbados were allowed to carry these lights.
Last week the issue was ventilated on the Facebook page called Barbados Wall Of Shame when a poster, Joanne Pooler, reported that she had seen two cars driving on the road with flashing strobe lights while another said they were a popular feature on motorcycles.
