BURLY FAST BOWLER Shannon Gabriel finally came good yesterday with a maiden five-wicket haul to help dismiss Pakistan for 452.
However, West Indies stumbled in their reply, reaching 106 for four at stumps on the second day of the second cricket Test in Abu Dhabi.
The 28-year-old Trinidadian, who had taken only three wickets in an innings twice before – in his first two Tests – returned career-best figures of five for 96 in 23.1 overs. He now has 45 wickets in 22 Tests at an average of 38.42.
