THE Barbados Football Association (BFA) has added some new rules and incentives for the Digicel Premier League season, which kicks off on Sunday at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.
President of the association, Randy Harris, said at a press conference at their Wildey headquarters yesterday that whenever there were awards there were also expectations from the clubs, and as a result they had introduced a number of changes for 2017.
These changes, he said, should see teams play a more exciting and attacking style of football.
“As you know, we had problems with results, with what we can deem as suspicious results over the last two years, and we are looking to put things in place to prevent such occurrences from happening again. (RA)
