Holder: Opponents feared us

THE STAR-STUDDED Barbados Pride outfit, with their galaxy of West Indies cricketers, intimidated their opponents through the Regional Super50 Cup.

Captain Jason Holder made the revelation at the Grantley Adams International Airport yesterday after the players were treated to a VIP reception on their return home from Antigua after winning their seventh regional One-Day title on Saturday night.

Barbados Pride defeated Jamaica Scorpions by 59 runs in the day/night final at the Coolidge Cricket Ground.

Only all-rounder Kevin Stoute of the starting XI in the final has never played an international game for the West Indies. Two of the substitutes, left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican and fast bowler Miguel Cummins have played Test cricket with the latter also playing in the regional team’s last One-Day International.
