AFTER TWO years, defending champions Gilkes House (Blue) were dethroned and the new champions of Parkinson Memorial Secondary School are Husbands House (Red).

At the start of the 4×100-metre relays, at the National Stadium, only four points separated the winners from the defending champions, but they were not fast enough in the relays.

Red House placed first with a total of 732 points, Blue was second with 716 points; Barnett House (Green) was third with 554 points, while Howard House (Yellow) brought up the rear with 585 points.

The lone record of the day was broken by Under-17 Sarah Lawrence in the 100-metre dash with a time of 12.25 seconds. She shattered Keisha Gregg’s 1997 record of 13.34 seconds.
