A MURDER ACCUSED who was out on bail appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court on four drug charges yesterday.

Twenty-six-year-old James Ricardo Alexander Fields, of Bank Hall, Main Road, St Michael, was charged with possessing, trafficking and supplying cocaine yesterday. He also faces a charge of possessing cannabis on the same date. Fields denied the charges.

Prosecutor Sergeant Martin Rock said that Fields was on bail for a capital offence from the High Court and that one of the conditions attached to the bail was that he report to Central Police Station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

However, the court heard that since that condition took effect on March 14, 2016, there was no record of Fields ever reporting to the station. (TKS)
