Highway 2A pitch-black too

IF YOU THOUGHT the ABC Highway was consumed in darkness at night, don’t blink.

Highway 2A could be even darker, and may pose just as much of a threat to motorists, with long stretches of pitch-black conditions, and thick, overhanging bushes adding to the risk.

The attention of most commuters has been directed at the heavily traversed Adams, Barrow, Cummins Highway which runs from University Drive, St Michael, to the Grantley Adams International Airport, Christ Church.

However, after a recent check heading to the north of Barbados through the most used artery to St Peter, some eerily similar conditions were noticed.  (BA)
