DLP ‘damaged’ families, businesses

The Democratic Labour Party has done untold damage across this country, says Barbados Labour Party candidate for St Michael West Central Ian Gooding-Edghill.

He was speaking on Friday night at the BLP’s spot meeting at Savannah Road, Bush Hall, St Michael in the constituency of St Michael Central.

“As you walk across the country, you see the damage they have done to families and businesses,” he said.

Gooding-Edghill added that while the BLP were in office they reduced unemployment from 24 per cent to six per cent.

“They want you to believe that unemployment is only 13 per cent, but when you look around you see too many young people out of work,” he said. (RA)
