It was a colourful spectacle at Vaucluse, St Thomas from Saturday night into early Sunday morning as about 1 500 J’Ouvert revellers took over the grassy area where Powda was being kept.
Organisers Lucky Horsehoe in association with Jump Promotions held the event for Crop Over 2018.
Patrons came dressed in white to make sure the full effects of the various paints and powders could be seen.
Some seemed to have stood under the machine as they were fully drenched and looked like a bag of Skittles.
Even at 2 a.m. people were coming into the venue but they would have missed some of the earlier performances as artistes took to the stage to give a taste of new and old tunes while DJS kept the party going between sets. (NS)
