Police officer remanded

The police officer on suspension from active police duties was remanded to HMP Dodds earlier today.

Dirwayne Omar Cumberbatch, 30, of Round The Town, Speightstown, St Peter admitted to 13 counts of breaking and entering, trespassing and theft in the Holetown Magistrates’ Court.

Cumberbatch was represented by defence attorney Arthur Holder, while Acting Inspector Janice Ifill prosecuted.

Magistrate Wanda Blair remanded him until December 10 by consent. (RA)
