CRANE and Equipment Ellerton produced another Capelli Cup spectacle on Tuesday night crushing a depleted Villa United 8-2 at the Wildey Turf.

In a game that included three own goals, two penalties and two red cards, Ellerton pushed their tournament tally to 20 goals, while Villa were their own worst enemy at times.

In the night’s other fixture, Fitts Village, who had conceded eight goals in each of their previous two games, fell 3-2 to Group B rivals Youth Milan.

After scoring 12 times in their previous two fixtures, Ellerton were tipped for another prolific evening against a Villa United side that had conceded six in their previous two games. (NM)
