I WISH TO THANK Minister of Transport and Works John Boyce for having removed rotting palm trees that posed danger to life and limb of all those using the Belleville area.
One tree still stands, but I suspect this is because the removal equipment is not adequate for the job.
I am however certain that Mr Boyce will find an alternative way to remove this tree as soon as possible, as its potential for crashing onto the street is real.
Lots of negative things are often said about Members of Parliament, and it is for this reason that I take this opportunity to say how impressed I was with how the minister dealt with my complaint.
His action should serve as motivation for some of the civil servants attached to his ministry, whose attitudes leave much to be desired.
