CORONER?Faith Marshall-Harris has echoed the call for fetes to be closely monitored.
She made the comment yesterday after delivering a verdict of “unlawful killing” in the death of Holbert Ricardo Davis, who was shot to death on Christmas Day 2008 while attending a fete at Highland St Thomas.
Only last week Commissioner of Police Darwin Dottin, speaking at a Press conference, called fetes “incubators of crime”.
Davis, a barber, who lived at Welchman Hall, St Thomas, was gunned down when an angry Dwayne Herbert, who was attending the party, fired off a volley of shots after police pulled the plug on the music around 2:30 a.m. (MB)
