Big seven ready for pageant

Bold, bodacious, big and beautiful.
The seven contestants in the Miss Big & Beautiful pageant – Sabina Marshall, Xiomara Forde, Sansia Craigg, Ranisha Browne, Sadé Harris, Samantha Grannum and Samantha Hinds – came together last Wednesday night to thank sponsors for their support.
Making clear their determination to “rise like a phoenix” on the night of the pageant, they all said they were grateful for the opportunity to compete.
Previous Miss Big & Beautiful queen Sasha Craig gave the contestants her blessing and told them to keep on shining and encouraging other big women to see themselves as beautiful.
The show is scheduled for Sunday, October 30, at the Plantation Garden Theatre, starting at 6:30 p.m.
