Jamaica’s Campbell Brown wins gold

Jamaica’s Veronica Campbell Brown has defended her 60 metre title at World Indoor Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, clocking a world leading 7.01 seconds to reclaim the title. Campbell Brown came from behind the field to win gold ahead of Ivorian, Murielle Ahoure, who crossed the line in 7.04 seconds and the USA’s Tianna Madison who finished in 7.09 seconds. The other Jamaican finalist, Aleen Bailey, finished seventh in 7.24 seconds.
